💙 This Christmas Eve, Star Tribune reporter Laura Yeun revisited one of her favorite stories of 2024: the inspiring journey of legendary sportscaster Mark Rosen as a caregiver. After connecting with Jack’s Caregiver Coalition, Mark shared: “I found out through this group that a lot of men are reticent to ask for help. It can create a very lonely existence. Forget the macho stuff. Don’t be afraid to show your emotions and weaknesses.” For 10 years, we’ve been creating spaces where male caregivers feel seen, supported, and empowered. 97% of those we’ve worked with report feeling 80% better equipped for their caregiving role. As we close this chapter and look ahead, we’re preparing to serve one million caregivers over the next decade. From our very first meeting to supporting hundreds of male caregivers, Jack’s has been a beacon of hope, providing community, resources, and encouragement to those who need it most.
