BIG NEWS: We are excited to welcome Randy Black to our team at Jacob Green and Associates (JGA). Randy is a former Assistant Fire Chief with the Orange County Fire Authority and will serve our clients as a Senior Advisor for Public Safety! As a Senior Advisor at JGA, Randy will serve our clients as a strategic planning and teambuilding facilitator and executive coach. We are thrilled to welcome Chief Randy Black to the JGA team and look forward to the positive impact he will have, serving our amazing clients. Randy's 39-year career in the Fire Service began with the City of Santa Ana Fire Department where he was hired as a Reserve Firefighter in 1985. He rose through the ranks and became a Chief Officer with Santa Ana Fire in 2003. Chief Black most recently served the residents of Orange County as Assistant Fire Chief with the Orange County Fire Authority overseeing EMS, Operations Training and Promotions. His prior assignments include serving as Division Chief overseeing the city of Santa Ana and the EMS Division, Emergency Planning and Coordination, Emergency Communication Center Manager, Public Information Officer, and Emergency Management Coordinator. Randy served as president of California Fire Chiefs Association EMS Southern Section and Director of the FIRESCOPE EMS section. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Fire Protection Administration from Cal State LA and is a Certified Chief Officer in the State of California. Welcome to the team, Randy! Jacob Green
