Today, on the 4th anniversary of his untimely passing, we celebrate our founder, Dr. Fawzi B. Shaya, who in 1996 had the vision to create an innovative, technology-driven medical supplies company. One based on the highest integrity, focused on improving the quality of life for our customers, and leading the industry through innovation. From his humble beginnings growing up in Iraq and eventually immigrating to the United States as a young man, Dr. Shaya was driven to chart his future and realize his dream. Over the years, his innovative spirit was ahead of its time, and he built J&B Medical into one of the nation's leading organizations, employing thousands of people in multiple states. Throughout his life, he was guided by his Catholic faith and his commitment to helping others. Giving back to the community was always a priority for Dr. Shaya. He supported many charities and organizations both locally and nationally. In addition to his business acumen and accomplishments, many of our team members will remember him as a loving father of four and a pioneer in the industry. Thank you Dr. Shaya! Your legacy and mission lives on in all of us!
