About us

The Janesville Innovation Center (JIC) represents a community-wide business investment to provide resources to a variety of new and growing small businesses in the greater South Central Wisconsin area. Specifically, the JIC provides a supportive environment where education, technical assistance, training, mentorship and other value-added benefits converge to facilitate concepts to commercialization; to scale and right-size operations; to expand or transition into a second-stage small business; and much more. The JIC offers 22,000 square feet of contemporary office and manufacturing space. Office suites range in size from 178 SF to 328 SF, and the manufacturing suites range from 450 SF to 4,200 SF. Additionally, the JIC has dedicated and onsite contracted staff, which provides direct access to programming and training resources from Blackhawk Technical College and free business consulting services from the UW Small Business Development Center. Whether planning a new product or service line, or simply need additional surge space to accommodate the needs of a growing business, consider the JIC. The JIC building is owned by the City of Janesville and leased, operated and managed by Janesville Innovation, Inc. (JII) — a local nonprofit, economic development organization.
