To support families in need, our JBS Carriers business unit held a food drive for the Weld County Food Bank. JBS Carriers team members were able to provide turkeys and many side options to the food bank this holiday season. Well done, JBS Carriers!

Our Green Bay, WI, facility hosted their 29th Annual Bowl-a-Thon to raise money for the community. Team members attended the event where funds were raised for the new community shelter that is being put in at the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. Sounds like a fun event, Green Bay!

Our Mason, OH, facility partnered with Shared Harvest Food Bank to hold a canned food drive for those in need during the holiday season. Mason team members brought canned goods to work that were donated at the end of the food drive. Mason also donated a pallet of meat to the food bank for families in need this year. Keep up the great work, Mason!

Congratulations to our Louisville, KY, facility on being recognized as a great community partner at the 3rd annual Jefferson Community Technical College (JCTC) employer apprenticeship luncheon. JBS Louisville received this award because of the opportunities they have partnered with JCTC on for their team members including ESL classes, public speaking, their maintenance training program and more. Fatima Ortega, technical training manager for Louisville, attended the luncheon and accepted the award. Keep up the great work, Louisville!

We’re spending another year thankful for our incredible JBS USA team and the customers we get to serve every day.  Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! 

Our Ottumwa, IA, bacon facility recently provided 2,500 lbs. of meat to local veterans. Each veteran that attended was able to take home around 15 lbs. of bacon. Great work, team Ottumwa!

Congratulations to all 158 participants who recently graduated from our Supervisor Development Program. While in this program, participants were trained and given the skills needed in order to make them successful supervisors at their respective facilities. We can’t wait to see all the good things this group will do!

During their annual fall meeting, our Live Pork team members worked to package 60,048 meals for the Meals for the Heartland organization. All the meals packaged by our team members will be given to those affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Great work, Live Pork!

Last week to celebrate Halloween, our Green Bay, WI, facility hosted a Trunk-or-Treat event for team members and their families to enjoy. Sounds like a great time, Green Bay!

Through our #HometownStrong initiative, we invested $1.6 million to the Greeley-Evans District 6 Success Foundation for the creation of SmartLabs in eight of their schools. In total, District 6 now has 21 SmartLabs, making them the largest SmartLab adopter in the country.
