  • I am looking for an associate attorney interested in joining JC White Law Group, someone with 1 to 2 years experience. Our Chapel Hill, NC, firm is a niche law practice that handles complex cases involving finance, fraud, and unfair trade practices. Our approach involves a deep understanding of the legal system and a drive to uncover innovative solutions. We are not afraid of a challenge and relentlessly pursue success for our clients, even in seemingly impossible cases. If hired, you will assist clients in evaluating potential risks and making tough decisions about your legal options, and be involved in all phases of complex litigation. Our firm's practice involves complex litigation and business bankruptcy, and this attorney will work in both of these areas. We have successfully taken on banks, large financial institutions and other corporations in “David v. Goliath” cases. Successful applicants will: - be admitted to the North Carolina Bar, or be able to do so in a short period of time; - have strong writing and communications skills and - a demonstrated interest in the mission of the firm. There are advantages to working a small boutique law firm such as us: - significant client contact, - varied workload and early responsibility, - informal work culture, - options for remote work, - ability to build a book of business. Applicants should submit resume, cover letter explaining why you are right for the firm, writing sample and (for recent graduates) transcript. We offer a competitive incentive-based compensation model, CLE allowance, cost of bar admissions, full healthcare, disability insurance and 401(k) plan.
