Senior First Nations Consultant, Specialist in Aboriginal Tourism and Experiences Development, Founder of Jharmbi & Co; Creative Agency and a Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner.
Kaz Ross, creative director, storyteller and speaker of Jharmbi & Co, is a proud Mutti Mutti woman. Her ancestral lands take in Balranald on the Murrumbidgee River and Lake Mungo in the far south west of NSW. Jharmbi & Co is an Aboriginal owned and operated business working in collaboration with On Stone to produce unique custom made acknowledgement plaques for workplaces, homes and schools. Kaz was born and raised in Victoria, with deep ties, understanding and connection to both her ancestral lands as well as where she has lived and worked on Wadawurrung (Geelong) Country and Naarm (Melbourne). Kaz now resides on Bundjalung Country in Northern NSW, with her husband Dallas Rawlings, daughter Lula Ngalu and their dog Bingo. Jharmbi & Co is a space where collaboration is celebrated and friendships forged. 'Jharmbi', an Aboriginal word for 'friend' or 'mate' is the foundation of the business ethos. Through 'Yarna Moond' the act of speaking to the heart, the business aims to foster deep connections and healing.
