  • During the month of December, we bring recognition and gratitude to our incredible Campaign to Conquer Cancer Director and member of the Employee Giving program, Anne Marie Taylor. ”Directing the Campaign to Conquer Cancer has not been my job but rather a personal endeavor that honors the amazing John Muir Health oncology team who extended my life beyond Stage IV breast cancer. As an 18-year survivor, I owe my recovery to the incredible care and dedication of Dr. Tiffany Svahn, along with JMH oncology caregivers, who walked alongside me during years of physical and emotional challenge. I remember the shock and heartbreak in hearing those words: 'You have cancer.' But I also recall the sacred connection and support from so many JMH staff who cheered me on through the battle. Your support can help those who are fighting now, and who will battle cancer in the future. Giving to our Campaign to Conquer Cancer is investing in hope, in breakthroughs, and in the lives of countless patients and their families. https://lnkd.in/gnhtgTWU

  • Thanks to the generous support of the Valentine Family Foundation in 2017, which funded a state-of-the-art cardiac surgery operating room, John Muir Health continues to lead in cardiac care. The 2022 California Cardiovascular Outcomes Reporting Program (CCORP) ranks John Muir Health in the top four out of 120 licensed hospitals statewide for isolated CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) surgery. This ranking is risk-adjusted to ensure fair comparisons and reflects our unwavering commitment to surgical excellence—standing shoulder-to-shoulder with major academic institutions. Thank you to the Valentine Family Foundation and all who support our mission. Together, we're shaping the future of health care and saving lives every day. ❤️ Learn more about our cardiovascular services and make a difference today! https://ow.ly/uEQu50Ut4Vo

  • Thank you to everyone who helped make our Celebrate John Muir Health! gala an unforgettable evening! On Saturday, November 2nd, we gathered inside a beautifully transformed hangar generously donated by Jean and Lisa Hofmann at the Buchanan Field Airport in Concord, CA. The night’s theme, Living in Color, radiated throughout, celebrating our mission and our commitment to brighter futures for those we serve. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised $1.7 million to benefit the John Muir Health Behavioral Health Center. This transformative support will go directly towards enhancing mental health care in our community. To our amazing donors, staff, volunteers, and all who joined us—thank you for lighting up the night and for making such a profound impact. Together, we’re building a brighter, healthier future. #CelebrateJohnMuirHealth #LivingInColor #BehavioralHealth #JohnMuirHealth #ThankYou
