About us
John’s Crazy Socks is social enterprise co-founded by John Lee Cronin, a young entrepreneur with Down syndrome. Together with his co-founder and a father, Mark X. Cornin, the pair opened for business in December 2016 with a mission to spread happiness. John’s love for crazy socks paired with his love of making people happy has made John's Crazy Socks the world's largest sock store. Not only do we have socks you will love (29,000+ 5-star reviews), more than half our employees have a differing ability and giving back is baked into everything we do starting with a pledge of 5 percent of earnings to the Special Olympics. (John is a special Olympic athlete.) And every package includes a hand-written thank you note from John and some candy.

Spreading Holiday Cheer with Christmas Magic 🎄✨ On Christmas Eve, John had the privilege of joining Christmas Magic at their annual holiday party for children and families living in homeless shelters. With joy in his heart and a bundle of socks in hand, John helped bring smiles to so many faces, reminding us all of the magic of giving. Thanks to the support of our customers, John’s Crazy Socks will donate over 4,000 pairs of socks to Christmas Magic. These socks not only keep little feet warm but also send a powerful message of hope and care to those who need it most. At John’s Crazy Socks, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Our partnership with Christmas Magic is a testament to our mission of spreading happiness and showing what’s possible when we come together to make a difference. Thanks to Charlie Russo who founded Christmas Magic and Jeff Brett of King Quality for his support. #SpreadingHappiness #GivingBack #ChristmasMagic #Inclusion #SocialEnterprise #JohnsCrazySocks

Championing Inclusive Entrepreneurship with Assemblyman Keith Brown At John’s Crazy Socks, we believe that entrepreneurism is an option for all including people with different abilities. We are advocating for New York State and all states to promote entrepreneurship for people with different abilities. As part of that effort, we welcomed NY Assemblyman Keith P. Brown and his Chief of Staff, Susan Broderick, to our office. John gave them a tour, we introduced them to our Sock Wranglers and we discussed our three-prong plan for New York State: -Disability-Owned Business Certification: Establishing a state certification for businesses owned by people with disabilities to enhance visibility and access to resources. -State Contract Set-Asides: Creating procurement set-asides to ensure disability-owned businesses have fair opportunities to secure state contracts. -Expanded Support Through NYSID: Including for-profit disability-owned businesses in the New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) programs. Assemblyman Brown called it “the smart thing to do for New York’s economy.” We are working toward a more inclusive future! When you buy our socks, you support these efforts. https://bit.ly/3y22LL3

🎄 Making a Difference This Christmas with John’s Crazy Socks 🎁 At John’s Crazy Socks, we’re on a mission to spread happiness, especially during the holiday season. This year, we’re proud to partner with Christmas Magic, a program that brings gifts and joy to homeless children. ✨ Here’s how we’re giving back: From now until Christmas, for every order sold, we’ll donate a pair of socks to Christmas Magic. These socks will keep kids warm and let them know they’re cared for during a time when it matters most. We are joining with King Quality Roofing and Siding and Jeff Brett to make this campaign happen. On Christmas Eve, our co-founder John Cronin will join the Christmas Magic celebration, handing out gifts and spreading smiles to the children. Mark X. Cronin, our co-founder, says: “Christmas is a time to come together, share gratitude, and support those who need it most. We’re honored to partner with Christmas Magic to bring joy to children facing hard times.” How You Can Help: 🧦 Buy socks from our website—every purchase helps! 🌟 Share this post to spread the word. Together, we can make this season magical for everyone. 💝 📍 Visit us at https://lnkd.in/eKMfSyi #SpreadHappiness #GivingBack #JohnsCrazySocks #ChristmasMagic #SocialEnterprise
