At NMG, our core value of “Be All Heart” empowers us all to be socially and environmentally responsible, contribute meaningfully to our communities, and foster inclusion with a sense of belonging. Last week, we proudly launched our new and improved All Heart employee giving and volunteerism platform, powered by Deed. On launch day alone, our NMG associates came together to embody what it means to “Be All Heart” –– with more than 1,000 associates logging into the platform to use their matching gift benefit and donate over $100,000 to 124 deserving non-profits! Associate giving and volunteerism are important facets of our ESG strategy. As we track progress towards our FY25 goals of 7,500 associate volunteer hours through NMG’s All Heart program and $3,000,000 raised for charity through our Heart of Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf Goodness foundations, this new platform streamlines the giving and volunteering processes, making it even easier for our associates to Lead with Love in our communities.

Although the wildfires in Los Angeles have been contained, long-term recovery efforts remain crucial. We urge all of our partners to continue their support for these efforts, working alongside Deed as the relief initiatives move beyond their initial response phase. For more information on ways to help, check out Deed’s Los Angeles County wildfires disaster relief resources page (https://lnkd.in/gqyE6q23) 1️⃣ Donate to organizations dedicated to long-term recovery. It’s essential that responders provide the community with what it truly needs, rather than what might be assumed. We recommend donating to the organizations listed below or organizing a fundraiser for your employees to back the ongoing recovery efforts these groups are leading. 💜 The California Community Foundation has already distributed over $30,000,000 in donations to residents, organizations and programs throughout the Los Angeles community. You can find their Deed profile here: https://lnkd.in/gwQzFx9H . 💜 The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is continuing to provide direct relief for those displaced and in need in the Los Angeles community. Foodbanks are an essential part of long-term recovery. You can find their Deed profile here: https://lnkd.in/gWnEn3uP. You can donate to these organizations and more through Deed’s Wildfire Disaster Relief Campaign (https://lnkd.in/gk6bYPfc) 2️⃣ Volunteer in-person or virtually with organizations still in need of support. As relief efforts transition from immediate response to long-term rebuilding, the demand for volunteers continues to grow. We previously shared Volunteer Collective’s list of opportunities and encourage you and your teams to continue offering your time and resources to these efforts. 🫶 The recovery process in Los Angeles is far from over. We invite you to join Deed in continuing to support those impacted by the wildfires.

An intuitive workplace giving platform is ESSENTIAL in order for employees to be excited about and engaged in donations and volunteering opportunities. Many companies switch to Deed for exactly this reason! A social impact manager at Instacart says, "Honestly, one of the reasons that we transitioned was just that employees did not find [our old provider] intuitive." Learn more about why Instacart switched to Deed here: https://lnkd.in/gvqpH2c8
