How can this cycle of generational poverty and recidivism end? 🚛 Grantee FreeWorld is changing lives by enrolling formerly incarcerated individuals in Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) classes. This initiative opens doors to stable, well-paying careers in trucking, providing a pathway to long-term success. FreeWorld is developing a first-of-its-kind tool that will generate publicly available, anonymized data to shape criminal justice reform and workforce development strategies. “We’re really grateful that GitLab is investing in measurement and sees the value of where this can go, because having a more comprehensive, long-term view is going to be pretty revolutionary,” said development director Alissa Efteland.
