When a customer's generator broke down yesterday but they had no loss of power to site, you realise that the actual savings delivered by our energy storage systems is not that simple to calculate!

Try before you buy! JTM Energy have a 45KVA/60KWh ESS that they're offering on a free trial to construction companies who would like to try it out and see how it reduces their generator run times on their sites. It's a good time to try it as the days are getting darker, wetter and colder! A week on site and you'll know if ESS makes sense for your operation. Private message me if you're interested. First come, first served.

We're delighted to be shortlisted for an Irish Construction Industry Awards award for Excellence in Sustainability in recognition of the battery energy storage system we delivered to a Clancy site in Stillorgan Dublin. The system is delivering significant diesel savings reducing the number of generators on the site from 3 to 1. They have 24 hour power with a single generator running as little as 2.5 hours per day!

Our latest install, commissioned this morning. The client, Wood Industries in Rathdrum, Wicklow, a builder's provider and sawmill, repeatedly experience electricity outages to their yard and shop. We installed a 15KVA/30KWh ESS on the single phase mains supply to their shop that'll seamlessly maintain power when outages occur so they can at least keep selling and taking payments!! If you require a similar solution for your business don't hesitate to reach out.

Following a successful pilot scheme at our St Laurence’s Park Development in Stillorgan, Clancy are delighted to continue our decarbonisation mission with the delivery of two new JTM Energy Battery Energy Storage Systems. The 45KVA/45KWh and 45KVA/60KWh Systems, manufactured here in Ireland by JTM Energy are reducing the run hours on our diesel generators to as little as 1.5 hours per day on sites in Croom, Limerick and Glanmire, Cork respectively. Through partnerships with suppliers like these we continue to drive carbon savings across our business activities. 🖥 www.clancy.ie #Clancy #JTMEnergy #BuiltonPartnership #Construction #Sustainability #Carbonreduction

BATTERY COMPARISON! On the right is an AGM type battery, once considered one of the best battery options available, and still very much in use today for particular applications. It's 30KG, 12V and 110Ah of storage but realistically only 60% of that is realisable i.e. a comfortable operating depth of discharge of 60%. They have a life of typically 1000 cycles. On the left are Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) cells. LFP's are the safest of any battery available. Four combined gives 12V for comparison. Total weight of just over 20KG, 280Ah of storage, a comfortable depth of discharge of 95%, life of up to 8000 cycles and frankly easy to charge. Lighter, energy denser, longer life and versatile ... LFP's are much more suited for Energy Storage Systems, which is why we build our batteries with them!
