👀 “He’s such a nice guy. There’s no way he could be abusive.” But behind closed doors, it’s a different story. Many domestic violence offenders don’t fit the stereotype of a violent, angry aggressor. Instead, they are charming, respected, and outwardly cooperative—with law enforcement, co-workers, even their own families. Yet in private, they manipulate, intimidate, and control their victims—without leaving physical marks or clear evidence of abuse. These offenders are masters of coercion, emotional abuse, and psychological warfare, leaving victims isolated, unheard, and powerless. Criminal justice professionals must recognize these tactics to hold offenders accountable and protect victims. In the online course Jekyll & Hyde: Managing the Narcissistic, Coercive, and Controlling Domestic Violence Offender, we break down: 🔹 How these offenders use charm and deception to manipulate everyone around them 🔹 The subtle, insidious ways they maintain control over their victims 🔹 How law enforcement, corrections, and victim advocates can challenge these behaviors and increase accountability Understanding the Jekyll & Hyde personality is critical for anyone working in the criminal justice system, victim services, or community safety. 📌 Learn more about the course here: https://lnkd.in/giZDPbsk #domesticviolence #CriminalJustice #PublicSafety #VictimSupport #VictimAdvocacy Sara E. ⏰ TIME TO REGISTER! March 20 webinar Law enforcement personnel bring unique personality characteristics to the profession, but they also develop a distinct “police culture” over their careers. From their first day in the academy, officers are trained to keep themselves and the public safe, and to maintain “command presence.” This training significantly influences their interactions with the public. In modern policing, officers are expected to juggle numerous roles, often without adequate training to manage the physical and mental challenges of a shift. Join us on March 20 when Amanda Stamps will not only delve into the unique characteristics of the law enforcement personality but also provide practical strategies to foster collaborative work, resulting in improved interactions and community relations. 👉 Click Here to Register for this webinar soon! https://lnkd.in/gUjpGH4x #lawenforcement #culture #criminaljustice #organizationalculture
