When you're looking for people, it's not just raw skill that counts. It's also character. Recently we downsized our team due to budget constraints. One of our team members, Nityasri Aileni, found herself having done spectacular work with the company and yet having to leave due to our downsizing. Her last day was last Monday. It was a long day and ended at 6:00 pm. At 6:00 pm, she was explaining to me where data she'd collected was on the server, who I should contact next, what conversations were left unfinished, and more. At 6:00 pm on her last day. That's character. It says more about a person than anything on their resume. When we are able to expand our team again, if she's available, I'd hire her back in a cold second. Nityasri is looking for her next position because she can't wait until we get where we're going.
