🌍✨ Thank you for making the Environmental Justice Mapping Workshop a success! ✨🌍 We had an amazing turnout as we worked together to help inform the City of Philadelphia’s first-ever Environmental Justice (EJ) map! While there are several EJ mapping tools available at state and federal levels, none capture the unique nuances within Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. This effort is a step toward ensuring more equitable and informed decisions about programs, services, and investments in our communities. 🏙️🌱 Led by The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, the City of Philadelphia's Office of Sustainability, Hinge Collective, and Kermit O, this collaborative initiative is paving the way for a future where local voices and data shape how our city prioritizes environmental justice. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful work, we are so excited that the Kensington community and Kensington Corridor Trust were a part of it. 💚💪 Together, we’re creating tools that reflect the real experiences and needs of our neighborhoods.
