Last week, we witnessed something truly special at the Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX) Girls Without Limits event. The energy in the room was electric as ROX girls took center stage, showcasing their confidence. Last night, Kegler Brown’s Women’s Collaborative had the pleasure of attending a delightful meet and greet hosted by BBCO, a woman-owned architecture firm led by the inspiring Bhakti Bania. The evening was filled with engaging conversations, refreshing tea, and some delicious Girl Scout cookies. Bhakti shared insights into BBCO's recent work on the Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland (GSOH) STEM Center at Camp Ken-Jockety, a project that our own Catherine Cunningham played a crucial role in by securing the necessary zoning approvals. In what has turned into a rendition of the Hokey Pokey, the CTA filing requirements have been put back in. The U.S. District Court for Eastern Texas has now lifted its preliminary injunction in the Smith case, meaning the CTA's BOI reporting requirements are enforceable once again.
