USEPA has issued final rules under the nation's chemical safety law, TSCA, banning trichloroethylene (TCE) and significantly restricting perchloroethylene (PCE). These new regulations aim to protect public health from their cancer-causing effects.   TCE: All uses banned, with major risks eliminated within one year.
