📍 211 King Street: We’re making significant strides on the exterior and interior renovations of the parking garage at this prime Charleston location. The project includes the removal and replacement of delaminated stucco, installation of new flashings and sealants, and refinishing of sound stucco for enhanced durability. Inside the garage, we’ve replaced traffic coatings, applied concrete sealers, and updated both vertical and horizontal expansion joints to ensure a long-lasting, functional space. For the façade, we’ve replaced all sealants, control joints, and wet glazing, along with completing masonry re-pointing on the brick and cast stone exterior to maintain the building’s structural integrity and weatherproofing. This work has been done in close coordination with The Beach Co. and the City of Charleston, all while navigating the complexities of working in one of Charleston’s busiest areas. 📍The Market Common: Our team is busy cutting out and replacing existing steel columns and beams that support the exterior corridor walkway. These structural upgrades are crucial as we transform all the exterior corridors into interior spaces, complete with new finishes. This marks the third of six buildings in the complex to undergo this structural replacement. We’ve been hard at work on our latest project located at Saint Andrews Blvd! Our team is replacing the lower, middle, and upper roofs, along with a complete recladding of the building. Coping, metal, and cast stone are coming up and will be going back down as part of the transformation. All brick, stucco, and metal are being stripped and replaced. We’re also installing a firewall, reframing all rough openings, and replacing all windows and doors. We’re currently working on plumbing, electric, and HVAC, and replacing structural steel.
