Participants licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing can receive 1 free CE hour after completion of the course and the post-CE evaluation. Objectives of the training include identify: environmental health risks CHWs may face; de-escalation techniques; ways to decrease spread of infection; elements of a emergency preparedness plan; ways to respond to emergent safety situations and to follow up when safety concern is noticed.
