Workers who rely on scaffolds to do their jobs face enormous safety risks, especially from falls. Scaffold falls can result in death and accidents can occur from something as simple as a slip or trip. Workers on scaffolds also face additional risks from falling objects and planking and/or supports giving way. Those who lack proper safety and health training and effective fall protection to identify hazards are especially at risk. KYSAFE has a free scaffold safety course available to help Kentucky employers and workers identify safety hazards (https://adobe.ly/3YKRxFC). A version of the same video for Spanish-speaking workers is available on the KYSAFE website (https://adobe.ly/4fwlpLz) and YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/4fLGl1h. #TeamKentucky #kysafe #workplacesafety
