For three years in a row, we have created a family tradition of a #gratitude jar, where we have the family write down what they are thankful for and say it out loud before putting it in the jar. Our first jar was the one on the right, just a peanut butter jar already at home. For the second year, we went to the store and purchased a specific jar. This year, while at the store, we started with the same size as last year, but the kids wanted to get an even bigger jar! It was a fun time to be able to spend time appreciating what we are each thankful for. #GivingThanks #GratitudeActivity #ThanksgivingTraditions

Happy Thanksgiving! This morning we enjoyed participating in the Orange County Rescue Mission Turkey Trot 5k #fundraiser. It was a great way for the community to see 1 Hope Drive and the location of where so many lives are changed. The OC Rescue Mission serves the community through the provision of assistance in the areas of guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care and independent living communities. They are our primary donation center for #HouseholdDonations and we love to support their cause. In preparation for Thanksgiving, we partnered with Northgate Market to provide turkeys and grocery vouchers for people facing food insecurity throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. On November 16, Hyundai and Genesis employees volunteered at our national headquarters in Fountain Valley to distribute 750 turkeys to families in need. Last week, we also teamed up with Los Angeles County Supervisor, Hilda Solis, on another turkey distribution in Los Angeles.    Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and give back. With the help of Northgate Market and our incredible team of volunteers, we are proud to support our community and bring extra joy to the Thanksgiving table.   #HyundaiHope #Community #Giving

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to Alexandria Hyundai or your local Washington Area Hyundai Dealer by December 17th and help brighten the day for children going through a very difficult time this holiday season. On December 18th, I look forward to bringing these toys, on behalf of the Washington Area Hyundai Dealers, to Georgetown Lombardi and present them to some very courageous children battling cancer. A big THANK YOU to Hyundai Hope On Wheels for their donation of $25,000 to Georgetown Lombardi to support children undergoing cancer treatment this holiday season.

For several years now, we have participated in the annual toy drive held by the Marconi Automotive Museum & Foundation for Kids | OC Event Venue. The museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was established in 1994 by Dick and John Marconi. They donated the building and their multi-million-dollar car collection to form the Marconi Foundation for Kids. For almost 30 years, they have used their automotive museum as a tool to generate money for children’s charities and organizations throughout Orange County. They support organizations such as Beyond Blindness, Olive Crest - Strong Families, Safe Kids Orange County Rescue Mission, Covenant House California, JESSIE REESE Foundation, Thomas House Family Shelter and many more with their donations. #CarsForGood #CharityCarShow #ToyDrive
