🚨 APPEAL FOR ENERGY SAVING! The excessive increase in electricity consumption has caused a series of overloads in many parts of Kosovo. Overload, as such, is causing problems in several key areas, where one of the main causes is electric heating. As a result, some consumers are facing the challenge of electricity supply, as assets are being endangered and are burning, which, as a result, consumers are being left without electricity for a while until the assets are replaced, which in certain cases include cables and even transformers. But, even in these circumstances, we are managing to supply over 95 percent of consumers continuously. Consumption, which is reaching historic record levels of up to 1,500 megawatts per hour, is being completely covered by local production and imports, which are reaching up to 500 megawatts per hour. Your cooperation is essential these days. We appeal to all consumers to make maximum energy savings, especially to take care of electric heating, in order to alleviate the situation and make it easier for the distribution network to cope. #energysaving #KESCO

The use of the air conditioner for heating depends on several factors, such as the efficiency of the device, external conditions, and temperature settings. ⚡️🌡️ For optimal comfort, it should be set to Heat Mode during winter, with a temperature between 20°C and 24°C. 🌡️😊 #kesco #energysaving #800kWh #energysupply

Due to the sudden decrease in production by the local producer at a time when demand is over 1100 MWh, only for today and part of tomorrow, we have imported electricity worth over 3.5 million euros. ⚡ Certainly, in these circumstances, when the demand for consumption is higher, we have to import this gap between demand and local production to ensure supply for our consumers. 🔌 Meanwhile, since the beginning of this month, KESCO has imported an average of 1.5 million euros worth of electricity every day. 💰 Please, save electricity!

Electricity saving is extremely important. ⚡️ To save both energy and money, follow these tips regarding your water heater, one of the largest energy consumers among household appliances: 🌙 Leave the water heater on overnight after 10:00 PM (off-peak hours during winter). ☀️ Only turn on the heater during the day when necessary. 🔧 Ensure your heater is new and functional. 🚿 Reduce the use of hot water in the sink. 🌡️ Lower the thermostat temperature (55-60°C is ideal). These actions will help save energy and reduce costs! #rrin800 #KESCO #YourEnergy #SaveEnergy

At the premises of the American University in Kosovo (AUK) 🎓, Kosovo's energy companies ⚡, field professionals, and representatives from governmental and academic institutions gathered to open the Energy Sector Job Fair officially 🌟. Among dozens of companies and representatives from various institutions and organizations, delegates from KEDS and KESCO 💡 also participated in this event, specifically from the Human Resources Department and the Customer Service, Tariffs, and Regulatory Affairs Department, accompanied by supporting staff. Many students of this institution and other guests invited to the fair showed great interest in the numerous opportunities for new positions continuously offered by KEDS and KESCO📈. This is the first time AUK has organized such a job fair 💼✨, while KEDS and KESCO, in recent years, have been active participants in similar events organized by other organizations and institutions in Kosovo 🌍🤝. #KEDS #KESCO #EnergySectorJobs #CareerOpportunities

Dear citizens, With the drop in temperatures, electricity consumption has increased, surpassing 1GW, while the import price on international markets exceeds €200/MWh. We kindly ask you to save energy and, if possible, to use alternative heating sources! Thank you for taking responsible actions, for yourselves and for the country!

KESCO has continued to import large amounts of electricity even at the beginning of December. Yesterday and today, we purchased electricity worth 3.87 million euros. ⚡💶 This is a continuation of the high values purchased in November, when nearly 30 million euros worth of electricity was imported. 🔋💡 This electricity has been purchased to cover the increased demand, as local production is insufficient. Therefore, please save electricity as much as possible. 🌍💚 Stay at 800! 🔌
