The heart of what we do is care for KFC restaurant employees across the U.S.
About us
The KFC® family has a rich history of generosity inspired by Colonel Harland Sanders himself. It started with a hitchhiker who happened to be a college student. The Colonel gave him a ride and a full scholarship. That act of kindness inspired the KFC Foundation, which has since provided $31 million to more than 9,300 students and KFC restaurant employees across the United States, assisting them in going to college, earning a GED, making it through a hardship/crisis situations and giving back to their communities in a big way.

Congratulations to Kellsey Martinez, our newest tuition-free college graduate! 🎓✨ From Spokane, WA, Kellsey joined KFC last summer and wasted no time pursuing her educational dreams through our tuition-free college program. In just five months, she earned her Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University. When asked about her future goals, she shared, "I want to run my own business one day, and now I know how." We’re proud to support dreams like Kellsey’s and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next. 🌟 Learn more about our programming through the link in our bio! 🔗 #KFCFoundation #FriesChangeLives #WGU #RoundUpChangesLives

Last week our team got to surprise the Kentucky Humane Society with their $10,000 Kentucky Fried Wishes grant! The grant will be used for their Women Warriors program which will connect women veterans, women first responders, and female family members of veterans, with rescue horses. Star of the celebration was definitely Walter, a cutie patootie kitty who has moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which makes him just a bit wobbly. 😻
