Introducing Lyla Grace. She is an amazing little girl who faces the challenges of RYR-1-related myopathy, a rare genetic condition that affects muscle strength and function. THE RYR-1 FOUNDATION is dedicated to funding research and providing support for families like hers, working tirelessly to find a cure for this disease. We are thrilled to say that our owls have big hearts! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 At our very first Giving Party, these kids collectively donated $4000! 🤩 We had over 100 children come together for two local non-profits: Endless Sports @endlesssportsnc and Emi’s Enchanted Events!  @emisenchantedeventsinc There was singing, there was dancing, there was giving, and there was love! 💕 We could not be more proud of these kids. And, our kids collected over a truck full of hurricane relief supplies! A very special thanks to these amazing charities, our beautiful kids, our big owls, and all of the wonderful parents! Kids Who Give will have a Hurricane Helene Supply Drive at our First Giving Party this Sunday at 3:00 pm at Theatre Academy Productions in Cary. Anyone is welcome to drop off supplies during this time. Lake Lure and the Chimney Rock area have not had as much support with supplies as some of the other bigger cities, and they are running out. We have an amazing volunteer with a truck to load up with any supply donations! Empty gas cans are an extreme need right now for people to have gas to run generators, and to get off of the mountains. Baby bottles and diapers are also in great need.
