Our free mental Health First Aid classes have filled up fast, but you still have the chance to schedule your own training. All you need is a group of 5-20 adults and a place to meet that has audio visual capabilities. Groups can request either our adult course or the youth course. The youth course is designed to teach adults how to help adolescents ages 12-18. Mental Health First Aid is for anyone who wants to make our community healthier, safer and more compassionate. It teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. And, it gives you the skills to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis. Request a group training today and check the schedule on our website for future class offerings. https://lnkd.in/gN7CZmja
