In honor of this upcoming event, we’d like to shout-out Senior Counsel Sheila-Marie Finkelstein, Esq., LLM, MEd, the undisputed champion of pro bono volunteerism at KPC. This year alone, Ms. Finkelstein has donated over 180 hours of her time to assisting veterans with their estate planning and other needs. Her impressive efforts and contributions have led to more than $500,000 in pro bono legal assistance provided to veterans and active service members. This award, named in honor of Arizona's first woman lawyer, recognizes Ms. Shely's demonstrated support and encouragement for the advancement of women in the legal profession. The award will be presented at AWLA's annual convention on October 5th, where Ms. Shely will also serve as the lunch keynote speaker.
