Thank you The Center for Health Design. We are proud of our work, along with all team members, on this challenging project that now delivers needed healthcare services to the East Bay.
Read about the project: https://loom.ly/yS1zeb8 Stanford Health Care proposes to enhance its healthcare presence and capacity within a new service area by leveraging a recent major investment in a high technology, full-service Outpatient Health Center. The strategic goal is to accommodate increased demand for both internal medicine and advanced imaging services. The project consists of planning and design for a major renovation of 32,000 SF within an existing, historic industrial building. Wanting to create a branded, patient-centered environment while preserving the industrial character and unique historic context of the Stanford campus, the KMD Architects design team played a critical role in balancing client expectations, design goals and anticipated costs, ensuring the project’s successful and timely completion. Documented verifiable or tangible data to date for the new project indicates that the new Clinic and Imaging Center is open, operating at capacity and meeting a community need. The project was 30 years ago but friendships and comaraderie endure! https://lnkd.in/gEBa6NPv John Ellis writes about the experience at the link below...
