About us
Established in 1964, KMX International has become a key Specialized Transport Provider and Project Cargo player in the Northeast. KMX services include rigging, heavy haul trucking, export packaging, and warehousing with 400 ton lift capacity and 150 ton hauling capacity including 13 and 19 axle trailers. Our corporate office is in Hamburg, PA (300,000 sq. ft. 60 miles from Philly/Camden) and we also have facility right in Baltimore (40,000 sq. ft.) both having ground and dock level doors, overhead and gantry cranes and heavy duty fork lift equipment. KMX is very familiar with handling project cargo have a software system for computer receiving and finalizing packing lists to keep track of the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. KMX recently completed the packaging and logistics for a second "train system," replicating the project completed in August. Despite a tight timeline, KMX expertly handled the export packaging of seven compressors and over 11,000 cuft of accessory equipment, ensuring everything was ready in time for the vessel's sailing schedule. KMX transported this compressor skid from the manufacturer’s facility to our warehouse for storage. When the project site and schedule are ready, this piece will be export boxed and transported to a USEC port for shipment to it’s final destination. With in-house capacity to transport 150 tons, lift to 400 tons, and storage up to 200,000sqft, we’re strategically located to service NJ/NY, Philadelphia, and Baltimore ports.
