My 2024 reel is released!🥳 This year the Kohlitz animation and video production reel is as varied as our client base. Every year I have the joy of diving into an assortment of industries targeting niche needs; products and services I never knew existed; and groups and events for every sort of tribe/squad/whatever the cool word is now. Setting the Pace: Ann Arbor’s Running History https://lnkd.in/gEHqrqFD The topic of “running” was not on Ann Arbor District Library's list of highlights for the Bicentennial project, Ann Arbor 200, but I pitched the idea because I thought the running community in Ann Arbor was exceptional. Through the documentary process, I have found not only that history backs up this sentiment, but that many agree. Historical highlights include Jesse Owen’s four world records in one day at UM’s Ferry Field in 1935; Ann Arbor Track Club’s 50+ year tenure as a community run group and the popular Dexter Ann Arbor Run it has cultivated since 1974; and the Michigammes, an elite group of female runners in the ‘60s who defied gendered expectations and ran, competing nationally and even globally in the Olympics. This was my second occasion working with Michigan Medicine's Scleroderma research team. This time around their team was creating a "Scleroderma Toolkit," an online resource for those with the chronic, autoimmune disease. The videos we worked on together featured Michigan Medicine's Dr. Khanna as well as several self recorded videos of testimonials from those around the world which I then edited. I got treated to a tour of University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business's video studio, along with getting to try out their Apple Vision Pro goggles. They have two sound stages equipped for live streaming engaging and immersive online classes.
