The majority, minority-owned law firm of Korde & Associates, P.C. was established in 1989 by Margaret Korde. In 2002, Sanjit Korde, Margaret’s son, became the majority owner of the Firm. In 2014, Susan Cody, John McNicholas, and Julie Ranieri were promoted as Partners. In 2021, Julie Ranieri became the Managing Partner of the Firm. Korde & Associates is a vibrant and diverse mix of professionals with a solid base of default industry and management experience. Korde's headquarters in Lowell, Massachusetts is centrally located with easy access to Boston and the other metropolitan areas in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. In 2018, the Firm opened a second location in New London, Connecticut. In 2019, the Firm merged with Shapiro & Morley - adding the state of Maine to the Firm’s coverage area. In 2023 the firm expanded its footprint and practice to include Vermont with an office in Waitsville. Korde specializes in the representation of institutional lenders and has extensive experience in handling foreclosures, secured and unsecured collections, secured party representation and protection in the bankruptcy forum, debt restructure/modifications, resolution of title issues, post-foreclosure evictions, replevins, loss mitigation and REO sales.

JPEG (Junior Professionals & Executives Group) is ALFN's young professionals' network designed to support and develop emerging talent in the mortgage servicing industry. While Jeremy Lipford, our Director of Operations, may no longer qualify as a "young professional" by JPEG's standards, his 2015 Picture the Future Award recognition continues to highlight his valuable contributions to the field. JPEG focuses on career and business development for professionals under 40 years old, addressing topics such as networking, marketing, public speaking, and professional growth. The group organizes networking events, webinars, and publishes an annual profile of outstanding young professionals called "JPEG: Picture the Future". The Picture the Future program is a highly competitive annual award that recognizes up to 12 young professionals in the mortgage servicing industry. Nominees must be under 40 and employed by an ALFN member business, mortgage servicer, or GSE. The selection process involves a blind review by a committee composed of ALFN Board members, executive staff, and industry participants. We're proud of Jeremy and glad he's part of the Korde team. His contributions continue to strengthen the firm's position in the mortgage servicing industry, showcasing the enduring value of experienced professionals like him. #teamKorde
