Koz Susani Design is an award-winning international design studio. We believe in calm beauty: hi-quality design to enrich life with beautiful objects, pleasurable experiences, intriguing stories. The new Filo version designed by Defne Koz and Marco Susani, completes the already successful collection and embodies the graphic synthesis between sphere and line. The new wall lamp draws its space through the environment: from the wall, the thin structure leads to the diffuser at its end, and interprets the movement of light. The white blown glass sphere diffuses a soft light for a natural atmosphere. The metal structure is available in two colours – matt black and brushed light gold. Volvo was one of the first automotive companies to commit to an all-electric future. The timeline for the transition was set for 2030, regardless of market conditions. As Volvo transitions towards its ambitious climate plan, the company makes radical changes to the way it operates, to become a climate neutral and a circular business by 2040. Some of these changes include running a factory fed by carbon neutral electricity, incenting its suppliers to commit to renewable energy within their operations, expanding recyclability and even implementing blockchain traceability of raw materials. We celebrate Volvo’s commitment of financial and human resources towards bringing the most compelling EVs to market. Ultimately, Volvo aspires to be recognized as a leader in ethical and responsible business. Much work ahead still as the ramp up over the next years is significant. But the pace to date is encouraging, as Volvo set a new global sales record in 2023. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) confirms the ambitious plan is on track.
