What does it feel like to pitch your business in front of a live audience? Surprisingly not as nerve wracking as I thought... BUT that's because I was a bit overwhelmed and so focused on what I memorized, that I was a bit numb to the whole experience. What I was nervous and excited about though was that I'd be pitching amongst amazing brands Fresh Peaches Twrl Milk Tea LOUPN 50Hertz Tingly Foods SHAZ & KIKS that are all so innovative and bringing exciting products to the market. (Seriously if you have a few minutes, go check out each of their brands!) This was my 2nd time pitching in front of a live crowd and although my pitch has greatly improved from my first pitch thanks to Brian Folmer Jennet Chow Esther L. Anish Patel, I felt that I could have improved my pitch significantly by having a better pace, reading the crowd, and presenting my pitch in a more natural tone. I'm excited for future pitches though as I know I have so much room to grow. Once the pitch was over, I had the time to soak in the experience and I'm so appreciative for all the people that took the time to coordinate and make the event happen. I want to say a special THANK YOU to Esther L., Anish Patel, and Meta for putting the event together, Bill Imada, Kelly Chen, Sara Tan, and Marisa Gordillo for judging all the great brands, and SHOPLINE for sponsoring the prize. Over the past few years of being part of the CPG space, I've always seen and heard about the Specialty Food Association but wasn't active in it but this year was different. After being selected by (Included)CPG as one of the brands to exhibit at the 2024 Winter Fancy Foods, we had a chance to showcase our CRAVE-WORTHY CANDY bars to thousands of attendees from around the world. So thank you to both Specialty Food Association and (Included)CPG (Nona Lim and Clara Lahlouh Paye) for providing us with the platform to do so! The experience these past few days was exciting to say the least, but I want to take this time to thank the organizations and people behind them that made this event such a success for us. I don't think I can fit everyone in but I wanted to make sure that I give a special shout out to Victoria Ho. Thank you Victoria for spending hours with us over the past few months to fine tune our digital assets and message so it's compelling and represents who we are at Krack'd Snacks.
