There’s a unique clarity that comes from seeing the inner workings of a product exposed, especially when guided by the very people who brought it to life. This photograph, taken during Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc.'s visit to Eagan, Minnesota, captures such a moment inside the MCH lab —a quiet but electric exchange of knowledge between those who craft and those who sell, all orbiting the innovation that is Marvin Connected Home (MCH). Levi Geadelmann, Marvin’s Product Portfolio Strategist, kneels next to an exposed window unit, his hand motioning toward some unseen feature within as he discusses the mechanics with Brian San Giacomo. His expression is one of intent—a person speaking not just to explain but to illuminate. Behind Levi, the backdrop of schematics and glossy product visuals paints a portrait of ideas made tangible, but it’s the stripped-down machinery before him that holds the real weight. This is Marvin, laid bare. The motors, the gears, the quiet muscle behind what homeowners usually see only as elegant design—this is the stuff they don’t advertise. Even for those deeply familiar with Marvin’s products, it’s not every day that even seasoned dealers get to witness this level of access—seeing the inner mechanisms exposed and explained firsthand is a rare privilege. The covers were off, the details exposed, and the audience was allowed to lean in and really see. It’s not just about learning the bullet points for a brochure; it’s about seeing the skeleton of the thing, the spine that gives it strength, and realizing that beauty doesn’t just happen. It’s built, piece by meticulous piece. But what made this moment stand out wasn’t just the technical reveal—it was the connection to the team behind it. Geadelmann wasn’t simply sharing facts; he was offering a deeper understanding of the years of engineering and innovation behind the product. For Kuiken Brothers, this visit wasn’t just another step in product training—it was an opportunity to connect with the essence of Marvin’s craft and carry that knowledge forward to their customers.

Attendees learned how to avoid costly errors. This wasn’t just about fixing mistakes; it was about preventing them in the first place. Thanks to Tyler’s expertise, attendees walked away with actionable insights to improve their future installations. We also want to extend a big thank you to Andersen Corporation, our seminar and Major Expo Sponsor, for supporting this event. • This isn't fire damage, and it COULD HAVE been prevented. This is what four poorly installed windows looked like on a recent remodeling project that Tyler Grace (TRG Home Concepts) was tasked with repairing. With proper installation, including head flashings, back-caulking, drainage planes and an integrated sill pan flashing into a weather resistive barrier (WRB), this costly error could have been prevented. Please join Tyler for a live installation seminar to learn how you can prevent this on future window & door installations by at our upcoming LIVE Product Expo, Thursday November 7 at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, NJ. A special thanks to our seminar and Major Expo Sponsor Andersen Corporation for making this event possible. One week to go! Complimentary for builders, remodelers, architects and designers with advance registration https://lnkd.in/eVZHzAMb
