As the curtain falls, symposium Chair - Abdullah Al-Mutairi (KOC) & Co-Chair Peter Jensen (Shell) extend their gratitude to Mr. Andrey Krokhin (Halliburton) as Program Committee Chair. The event was a resounding success and marked the beginning of collaborative efforts for a sustainable future.

The last session of the program discussed about the business models that can help open doors to new investment while meeting climate and energy goals as well as the right path for Kuwait for their Hydrogen & CCUS. Moderated by Dr. Mohammad Sabti (KOC), and joined by Dr. Malek Al Chalabi (Shell), Hasan Jaafar (KIPIC), Shahid Hasan (KAPSARC). and giving their talk virtually is Yuri Melnikov (UNECE) & Dr. Awwal Bamanga (NIMASA).

Capturing the 6th session where attendees gained impactful insights from upstream & downstream perspective as well as manufacturer's perspective on the Enabling Technology for CCUS & Decarbonization. Moderated by Abdulaziz Albeajan (KIPIC) & Kamaljit Singh (HWU). They are joined by a roster of speakers from Halliburton (Siddarth Ramadurai), Equate (Eng. Abdulhadi Alajmi), KPNC (Hosam Jamal), KIPIC (Mohammad Almohsen), KNCC (Oliver Hagen-Smith) and Carbon Clean (Eberhart Gomez).

Prof. Dr.-Ing Matthias Franke (Fraunhofer Institute - Germany) and Elie Adaimy (Gulf Cryo) stirred a vibrant discussion on sustainable solutions and plans for decarbonization during their spotlight presentation at the 1st Kuwait Intl Hydrogen Technology Symposium.
