Post RSNA, I'm in Delaware. A patient was scanned earlier today, on KyphoLift. You will see their story and faces in this post. They tried for years to get an MRI, but could not (Mrs. Marks story below for background). Their story and many others like theirs is "why" KyphoLift was created- a simple, needed and powerful solution. Hello Brandon - Here is our story: My Husband William F. Marks had a field of vision exam in August 2023. His eye doctor saw an anomaly where the same quadrant in each eye was blank and was concerned it might be the sign of a stroke. (Bill is 86 years old.) He has no symptoms of any kind or problems with his vision. She asked him to contact a neurologist and suggested an MRI. He attempted to get an MRI at three different locations. But because of the configuration of his head/neck they were unable to close mask over his face. They tried propping him up with pillows but that did not work. Doctors suggested CT Scans, but they did not provide enough detail. We found an upright, seated open MRI in New Jersey. With much force they were able to close the mask, but it was quite painful. Because of the discomfort he was unable to hold the position, and the MRI was not very clear. His doctors are still recommending that he get another MRI. Thank you for any help or suggestions can provide. Please let me know if you need anything more from us. Regards, Christine Marks * Finally, after years of trying, the marks have a diagnostic value that only MRI can provide. KyphoLift shined today and accomplished something otherwise not possible.

  • Let’s be honest: MRI patient positioning is a challenge. You’ve seen it: messy pillows, staff struggling to lift patients, and a process that hasn’t evolved with the demands of modern healthcare. For kyphotic, obese, and elderly patients, the standard method of manually lifting and propping them with pillows is not only inefficient but poses serious risks to both patients and staff. This outdated process can lead to compromised scans, repeated sequences, and delayed schedules—all of which take a toll on both operational efficiency and patient care. Here’s the reality: → 📈 By 2034, over 50% of the U.S. population will be considered obese. → 👵🏼 The number of kyphotic patients and those over 65 continues to rise. → ✅ 35% increase in MRI efficiency is possible by adopting better patient positioning methods. → 💸 Implementing a solution like KyphoLift can lead to an average revenue increase of $556K per 10K exams, with labor savings of $140K over the same period. Enter KyphoLift—Created by an MRI Technologist for MRI Departments. KyphoLift was developed by an MRI technologist who experienced these challenges firsthand. After years of manually lifting patients and struggling with inefficient positioning methods, they knew there had to be a better way. KyphoLift results from that insight—a solution that eliminates manual lifting and ensures proper patient alignment, without relying on makeshift solutions like pillows. Here’s how KyphoLift transforms your MRI department: → 🤕 Removes the need for manual lifting, significantly reducing the risk of injury for both patients and staff. → 🔎 Ensures precise, consistent positioning for every patient, from kyphotic and obese patients to those with limited mobility. → ⏰ Reduces scan times and reimaging delays, improving throughput and helping your department stay on schedule. → 👨⚕️ Empowers a single technologist to deliver efficient, “no-lift” care, especially in limited-staff and on-call situations. Our goal? To reduce excess scan time and repeated sequences by 30%, allowing your team to focus on what matters most: providing exceptional patient care while increasing efficiency. 🎯The bottom line is clear: KyphoLift doesn’t just improve patient outcomes—it also drives measurable results. By increasing MRI efficiency, KyphoLift helps departments reduce labor expenses, improve throughput, and ultimately increase revenue. It’s time to move beyond the risky, outdated methods of positioning. KyphoLift offers a safe, efficient, and modern solution that meets the needs of today’s MRI departments—created by those who understand your day-to-day challenges. Ready to elevate your MRI services? Let’s talk about how KyphoLift can enhance safety, efficiency, and profitability in your facility. #KyphoLift #MRI #MRITechnology #MRIHealthCare #Kyphosis #HealthCare

  • What if you could reduce MRI delays caused by manual patient positioning? 🧐 Conditions such as #kyphosis, #obesity, #spinalfusions, and #degenerativediskdisease often extend beyond typical allotment times. Typically, 10% to 30% of patients need extended imaging time and additional labor overhead. Standardizing patient positioning with #KyphoLift streamlines the MRI process from preparation to image acquisition, significantly reducing labor and turnaround times. ♻️ Share this to help your network improve their MRI workflow!
