It’s been a great year for the teams we serve in the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), and WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association). We’re proud to help fuel their success, bringing athletes food that helps them perform at the top of their game.  

The holidays are a time for tradition, and we’re sharing one of our favorite traditions with our teams. For years, Gavin Kaysen's restaurant Spoon and Stable served late night ramen on Saturdays. We now make the comforting bowls of noodle soup for our players, just like we did in the restaurant. What are your favorite holiday meal traditions?

What’s on the menu for a practice lunch? It’s always a balanced meal with enough protein and nutrients to fuel athletes. That could include turmeric ginger shrimp and charred cauliflower one day or herb roasted turkey with a side of potato gnocchi on another day. Take a look at some of our dishes:

What inspires your work? The story of KZ Provisioning starts with the athletes themselves. When co-founder Gavin Kaysen was visiting friends who played for the Minnesota Wild, he saw they weren’t getting the nutritious food they needed. Gavin and Andrew Zimmern realized their culinary expertise could be the solution, and KZ Provisioning was born. One of the main challenges we face working with pro athletes? Making sure players are eating enough to support their rigorous training schedules. We create balanced meals that athletes look forward to eating, making it easy to get all the food they need to support their goals.
