As we close out 2024, we wanted to thank everyone who has been part of L500 this year and supported our mission to empower and elevate more Latinas into executive roles. Together we: 💥 Grew our membership base of Latina leaders 30% year-over-year through our local chapters in Austin and Miami 💥 Hosted 5 professional development events for our L500 members at various locations and companies in Austin and Miami, including Visa, Google and SAP. Earlier this week, we hosted a professional development event in Miami, in partnership with SAP, titled "How to Sell an idea in 15 seconds." The masterclass was led by Mariana Ferrari, an acclaimed international keynote speaker, best-selling author, and advisor to top executives as President and CEO of DOOIT - Influential Leadership. During the session, our members were able to learn how to effectively present your ideas by sharpening your communication and persuasion skills. They also covered techniques to build trust, manage objections, and turn complex ideas into compelling pitches. Thank you to Mariana for sharing her expertise with us, to Claudia Carral-Allouche for organizing another empowering event in Miami, and a huge appreciation to the Business Women Network at SAP for hosting us. We look forward to our next gathering!

This week in Miami we also hosted our annual “L500 Leadership Connections,” a private event for L500 members to disconnect from our day-to-day activities, while creating an intentional space to connect, build community, and recharge. A special thanks to Nahila Campos Pierson for leading a session on “Leading in the Social Era: Authenticity in Digital Spaces,” where she shared tips on how to build an authentic presence online as a leader. An appreciation to our L500 Board members Rosandra Silveira and Venus Piñeyro De Hoyos for facilitating the session and creating a safe space for conversations and connections, to L500 Founding Member Elsa Zambrano for helping create the thoughtful agenda and to Gretel Perera and Claudia Carral-Allouche for hosting. 🚀 Our 3rd Annual Latina Leadership Summit in partnership with Expedia Group was a success! 🚀 A huge THANK YOU / GRACIAS / OBRIGADA to everyone who joined us in Miami for a day of uplifting conversations, interactive panel discussions and meaningful connections. More than 100 people joined us in person at Loews Miami Beach Hotel to listen to more than 20 amazing Latina leaders and allies share their experience on topics ranging from "How to break through glass ceilings" to "How to build your executive presence." Our speakers represented various companies and industries, including Expedia Group, SAP, Dell Technologies, Google, Visa, Loews Hotels & Co, TD, Well-Being Financial and Boldyn Networks.
