🎤 I shared my insights with 85 startups on Building and Utilizing Networks 🎤 🇺🇸 For day 2 of SelectUSA, I took part to the U.S. Expansion & Fundraising Workshop as a speaker representing my own venture La Creme de la STEM ™. I provided my takeaways of 10+ years of experience working in the tech industry in sales and partnerships roles with industry recognitions as I won two Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, the Tech and Startups Award from the French-American Chamber of Commerce - New York, and building a community of 4000+ women in 12 months after moving from Paris to NYC. 📈 I get the question "How did you build a community so fast?" a lot, and it has been difficult for me to verbalize what made me successful. I did manage to gather my thoughts for this speaker opportunity, and here is what I shared with the startups: 1️⃣ Build a network before you need it 2️⃣ Give before you get 3️⃣ Connect on personal matters 4️⃣ Always follow-up, but keep it short and sweet 5️⃣ Be clear on your expectations It was a great pleasure to do this alongside Daniel Glazer of Wilson Sonsini, Deborah of Onit Center, Pat Gouhin of Angel Capital Association, Nancy Hayes of NKH Group, Shelly Porges of Beyond The Billion® (launched as The Billion Dollar Fund for Women®), Amer Kayani of Elixir International LLC, Jeannice Fairrer Samani, PhD, MBA, CSM, Innovationalist(TM), David Roccio of Lando & Anastasi, LLP, and David Rose of US Expansion Partners. And again, a huge congrats to Beeta Christine R., Erin Finnegan Thomas, CMP and the team of Us Department Of Commerce for the organisation! 🍇 PS: did you spot my La Creme de la STEM ™ tshirt? 🍇
