Join our team!😊 We are hiring for the Volunteer Coordinator and Animal Care Associate positions. The Volunteer Coordinator position is crucial to the success of Lake Humane Society. The primary responsibilities include program planning and development; implementation including recruitment, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of volunteers; and directing and overseeing LHS staff members identified as volunteer point personnel. The Volunteer Coordinator is committed to building long-lasting relationships with devoted volunteers who share the same vision and mission as LHS. https://lnkd.in/ecBstYZd Animal Care Associates have one of the most important jobs within the shelter. These essential employees are responsible for providing daily care to the homeless pets at Lake Humane Society. Dedication, self-motivation, and compassion are key components to an effective Animal Care Associate who provides love and care to animals in need. These responsibilities include: feeding, cleaning, giving medications, providing enrichment, conducting health evaluations, introducing pets to potential adopters, and more.
