Lake Junaluska is open for summer recreation! We're excited about all we have to offer this season, especially as we begin welcoming conferences, groups and guests this summer. Our grounds are humming with activity as guests discover our new bocce ball and cornhole courts, our pickleball and tennis courts, our lakeside pool, the popular Walking Trail and more. Addiction Professionals of North Carolina held its 2024 Spring Conference here at Lake Junaluska this week, and we enjoyed having them here. The conference offered everything from breakout sessions and exhibits in lakeside Harrell Center to connecting and networking while making s'mores by the fire to addresses by inspiring speakers including Maryum Ali, social worker, author and daughter of Muhammad Ali, in historic Stuart Auditorium. "There's power in silence and just doing the work you need to do and letting [negative people] see you do the work," Maryum shared with attendees.✨ Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina just 25 miles west of Asheville, Lake Junaluska is a premier site for board meetings, retreats, family reunions and professional conferences year-round. I am excited to be back in Toronto and representing Lake Junaluska at the Maestro PMS 2024 Users Conference! This will be several great days of learning, networking and working to accelerate the growth of our operations to allow Lake Junaluska to better serve our guests.
