Last week the team at our freestanding ER, the ER at Fruitville participated in emergency management training with the Trident. This device attaches to a fire hydrant and allows first responders to perform decontamination in the event of a large exposure to hazardous materials. This is part of our ongoing safety preparation to be safe, trusted and ready for any emergency situation.

Our interactive Skills and Education Fair was held earlier this week. This learning opportunity helps staff standardize care practices, promotes critical thinking skills, validates staff competency, and provides additional education to ensure team members are providing high-quality care. We thank our Education Department, the clinical staff, and volunteers who work to make the event successful.
