About us
Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity is one of the largest men’s general fraternities in North America with more than 300,000 initiated members and has held chapters at more than 300 universities. In the early 1970s, it was the first fraternity to eliminate pledging and remains a leader in the fight against hazing, alcohol abuse, sexual assault and other challenges facing today’s college student. Complemented by its partnerships with Feeding America and the JED Foundation, Lambda Chi Alpha serves to enhance higher education by providing opportunities for academic achievement, leadership development, personal growth, career networking and lifelong friendships. The mission of Lambda Chi Alpha is to inspire and equip men to lead an ethical life of growth, service, and leadership. Lambda Chi Alpha envisions a world where the ideal man pursues a life of respect and inclusion for all. A world where we support and encourage one another. And a world where every brother models and embraces our values: loyalty, duty, respect, service and stewardship, honor, integrity, and personal courage.

Epsilon-Chi Zeta at Mississippi State University made history recently! The Chapter donated $11,500 to Bully's Pantry, the largest donation from a student organization ever. Bully’s Pantry is a collaborative effort of the MSU Division of Student Affairs and the Student Association to assist in meeting the basic needs of students who may be experiencing food insecurity and other financial needs. Great job Brothers! 🤟

The Warrior for Peace Foundation held its third annual Veterans Day Ocean Fishing Event last Friday. The event is a full day fishing adventure for military veterans and was designed to honor them and provide a day of peace and camaraderie. At the heart of the Warrior for Peace Foundation are a band of Brothers from the Zeta-Pi Zeta at San Diego State University: Mike Hieshima, Stephen Guillot, Scott McLaughlin, Rich Vincent, Mark Jennings, Mike Smith, Kevin Rouse and Pete Lloyd. Inspired by one of their Brothers, also a Veteran, the men wanted to build an organization that could help other veterans who need support and assistance. The Brothers created what would become the Warrior for Peace Foundation. Brother Cole Fredericks (Buffalo, '24) would have never expected his collegiate career to turn out the way it did. He opened his mind to the idea of joining a fraternity, something he was heavily against, and found a Brotherhood where he could grow, lead and learn from others. Lambda Chi Alpha was named the Fastest Growing New Partner in 2024 by the American Red Cross National Partnership Program! 🎉🎉🎉 As a whole, Lambda Chi Alpha donated 1,650 units of blood in 2024.
