Lancaster City Alliance was excited to host an Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony For Spanish Island Foods last week. We also welcomed Mark Vergenes, Vice Chair of the CRIZ Authority Board to with a CRIZ grant presentation. Spanish Island Foods brings vibrant Spanish and Caribbean flavors to Downtown Lancaster with the opening of its third location. We’re thrilled to be celebrating today with a ribbon cutting ceremony as we welcome business owners Aaron and Giandrew Handy to downtown Lancaster’s vibrant culinary community.

Lancaster City Alliance and the downtown Investment District hosted the November Merchant Milestone Awards Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th that honored 61 small businesses in the city of Lancaster with milestone awards for one, five, ten, forty, and up to ninety-five year business anniversaries. We were delighted to present a Centennial Award to the Junior League of Lancaster. Last, though certainly not least, we were honored to present a Special Recognition Award to recently retired PA State Representative Mike Sturla for his thirty-four years of distinguished service. His leadership and unwavering commitment have been a cornerstone of our community's growth and success.
