Today, Landmark Medical Center hosted our much-anticipated "Healthy & Happy" Spring Breakfast for Seniors. With the perfect blend of muffins, music, and medicine, this event was a heartwarming success. The morning began with a sumptuous breakfast buffet, where attendees enjoyed a variety of delicious options. Michael Souza, our CEO, welcomed everyone warmly, setting the tone for the event. Mayor Christopher Beauchamp then took the stage, sharing his thoughts and officially kickstarting our special occasion. Jeannette Farley, our dedicated RN and Stroke Coordinator, delivered an outstanding presentation on stroke prevention, providing valuable insights and practical tips for healthier living. Her expertise and engaging delivery were greatly appreciated by all attendees. The event was further enlivened by the incredible Manny Brando, who filled the room with his beautiful voice, humor, and heart. His performance brought joy and energy to the morning, making it truly memorable. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, we were thrilled to bring back this delightful community event in 2024. This transformative move back to the heart of Woonsocket, situated on the Landmark Campus at 196 Cass Ave, signifies a profound commitment to enhancing patient experiences and accessibility to vital care services throughout Northern Rhode Island. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who graced us with their presence, including esteemed speakers whose contributions enriched our celebration. A heartfelt thank you to Barbara Morse, News Anchor of NBC 10, whose eloquent opening set the tone for the event's success.
