This week, we’re excited to highlight Symphony Classroom, by Merlyn Mind, a multi-award-winning design and one of the pioneering hardware products centered around AI. This innovative product includes an Artificial Intelligence hub, a remote control, and a bespoke AI software platform called Merlyn that was developed to be an AI assistant for teachers in the classroom environment. Merlyn brings together and simplifies technology access and allows teachers to focus on what matters most - improving student outcomes. Last week we had the pleasure of hosting students from Cal State Long Beach’s industrial design program at LDA. These designers took part in Myk Lum’s class on brand development, with a focus on how differentiation in functionality, materials, and aesthetics contribute to brand identity. We look forward to seeing how these talented designers evolve as they graduate next year.
