Congrats to Jayden and Savanah, our winners for the November Student Growth Award 🏆 Jayden first started tutoring Savanah in the spring of 2024. He would initially hear her hesitate with math problems and say things like, "That's probably wrong," and "I guess that's the answer." But this past year, she's gained so much confidence! After working together for many months, now he hears her say, "I know what I did wrong!" and "I'm positive that's the answer!" Jayden told us that Savanah has come a long way and persevered through tough times. She has shown him and herself that no matter how hard something is, it's important to keep trying and give it your best. We are truly inspired ❤️ Congrats to these two!

We did it! We provided 100,000 hours in 2024 🎉 In 2017, we hosted 150 hours of tutoring and considered shutting down Learn To Be. While the org needed to exist, it didn't seem like we were able to make it work. But we decided to give it one more shot and pivoted. And things started to work. Now 7 years later, we hit a milestone — 100,000 hours tutored. Truthfully, we still don't know that we've made it. This is tough work. It's tough teaching kids the things we know that they need to thrive. It's tough reaching families that need it most. But we'll keep at it! For now, we're grateful to everyone who has volunteered, donated, supported, and cheered us on. ❤️ #onlinetutoring #nonprofit #2024recap
