Committed to delivering the best outcomes for our clients on planning, design and construction projects.
About us
We have over 20 years experience representing and advocating for owners on large-scale construction projects. Our expertise is balancing the competing demands of budget, schedule and quality to deliver a project that exceeds the Owner’s goals. We understand Owner interests......We get it. We’ve been advocating for owners’ interests on large-scale, high-profile construction projects for over 20 years. We have represented Fortune 500 companies, world-renowned institutions, public authorities, national developers, national REITs, and non-profits. We realize that many of our clients’ jobs and responsibilities don’t normally revolve around a complicated construction project. While representing your interests, we try to shoulder the day-to-day responsibilities of the project so you can continue to do what you do best. We also know that some Owners want to be very involved, while others prefer to take a more minimal role. Either way, we maintain focus on established goals, develop solutions to minimize constraints, and work to build consensus among stakeholders in a collaborative fashion. Each of our staff brings his or her own experience, expertise and ideas, but ALL of us share the same commitment: delivering the best outcomes for our clients.

We are excited to share the critical activity that took place this past weekend on the $650M Boston University Warren Towers project. Shawmut Design and Construction placed the structural base ‘bridge’ of the hoist accessway that will serve the project for Tower A! A job well done by the entire team who worked tirelessly to ensure its successful completion! 👏 👏 👏

The raising of the final steel beam for the new Wakefield Memorial High School marks a significant milestone in the construction of the state-of-the-art facility. On December 20, 2024, a Topping Off Ceremony—a longstanding tradition in the construction industry—was held to commemorate this achievement. Students, stakeholders, and attendees had the opportunity to sign the beam before it was hoisted into place. Adorned with an American flag on one end and an evergreen tree sapling on the other, the beam symbolizes good luck, new beginnings, and a safe project completion. Congratulations to the Town of Wakefield, the Wakefield Permanent Building Committee, and the entire project team for reaching this milestone ahead of schedule!

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Gilbane! THIS is one of the many reasons we love to build schools. The impact these state-of-the-art environments have on children is indescribable and we’re so grateful to have been able to involve so many in the actual building process. Congratulations to the community on a building that will benefit generations to come. And a big thank you to Gilbane Building Company, Studio G Architects, Inc. , and every else involved in its success.
Engaging students in the building process of their new school is just one of the ways we are Building More Than Buildings! Students from the recently completed Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton, Massachusetts expressed their gratitude for their new school by sending thank you notes and drawings to our project team - we're not crying, you're crying! 🥰 This project has been special - given it's poximity to the existing school, students have been involved from the beginning; they have joined the fun in breaking ground, held speaking roles at the topping out ceremony, and learned all about site safety through our very own Gilbane coloring books! Special thanks to LeftField and Studio G Architects, Inc. for partnering with us on this amazing school for the Town of Groton! #K12Education #GilbaneBuildsMA
