For this #MeetTheTeamTuesday, the LEAD Directorate of Public Works would like to recognize #TeamLEAD members LEAD electricians Andrew Defenderfer and Garrett Love for their outstanding efforts in replacing LED lights at the firehouse, ensuring continuous safety and security for their 24/7 operations supporting our firefighters. These team members have played a pivotal role in transitioning our depot to energy-efficient LED lighting, aligning with the Army's objective of reducing energy consumption across the Organic Industrial Base. #DidYouKnow that LEDs consume approximately 75% less energy than traditional bulbs? They not only conserve energy but also have a longer lifespan, which reduces waste and maintenance costs, making them a more sustainable choice for the environment. A huge thank you to the DPW team for the incredible work you do for our depot! Your dedication ensures that essential services are provided efficiently and cost-effectively to support LEAD's mission. 🙌

Letterkenny’s Mentorship Program is Kicking off! 🙌 LEAD launched a mentorship program in Aug. 2024, developed by intern Hanna Woolf from the Skills Development Office as her summer project. The program aims to foster collaboration and promote the transfer of knowledge and expertise among the workforce. On Oct. 23, the Skills Development Office hosted the kick-off event for the current pairs of mentors and mentees, outlining the expectations and parameters of their partnership.
