  • For this #MeetTheTeamTuesday, the LEAD Directorate of Public Works would like to recognize #TeamLEAD members LEAD electricians Andrew Defenderfer and Garrett Love for their outstanding efforts in replacing LED lights at the firehouse, ensuring continuous safety and security for their 24/7 operations supporting our firefighters. These team members have played a pivotal role in transitioning our depot to energy-efficient LED lighting, aligning with the Army's objective of reducing energy consumption across the Organic Industrial Base. #DidYouKnow that LEDs consume approximately 75% less energy than traditional bulbs? They not only conserve energy but also have a longer lifespan, which reduces waste and maintenance costs, making them a more sustainable choice for the environment. A huge thank you to the DPW team for the incredible work you do for our depot! Your dedication ensures that essential services are provided efficiently and cost-effectively to support LEAD's mission. 🙌
