🚨Liberset is thrilled to announce its strategic investment in a major European industrial biotechnology leader   Abolis Biotechnologies is a company specializing in industrial solutions using microorganisms and developing bio-production processes of molecules through fermentation. These processes allow the production of sustainable and biodegradable ingredients for the cosmetic, pharma, food, and chemical industries. This funding will fuel the company’s expansion into global markets and accelerate its research and development efforts to bring innovative biomanufacturing and microbiome solutions to the market. Liberset is proud to collaborate closely with Cyrille PAUTHENIER (CEO), Valérie Brunel (General Manager), Gwenael Servant (VP Business & Strategy) as well as the whole Abolis’ team in their future developments, especially in their expansion in North and South America. The chemical sector is facing major problematics as it is the largest industrial energy consumer and the 3rd largest industry subsector in terms of direct CO2 emissions. This is largely because around 50% of the chemical subsector’s energy input is consumed as feedstock (fuel used as a raw material input rather than as a source of energy).   Thus, to solve this complex situation, Abolis Biotechnologies decided to dedicate its mission to the development of green chemical production processes with sustainable supply chains (use of ag. waste, etc.) to find alternatives to legacy petroleum-based chemicals.   We strongly believe in Abolis’ capacity to become a major and global ecological transition player thanks to the support of its new international community of investors. Pourquoi optimiser l’irrigation dans l’agriculture est devenu essentiel ?💧🌾 {💡THE GREEN SPEAKER • L’innovation au service de la transition met aujourd’hui à l’honneur Weenat 🇫🇷} Le constat 🔍 : ➡️ Face au déficit hydrique 🚱 qui s’accentue d’année en année, il est dorénavant primordial de trouver des solutions pour maintenir le rendement et la qualité des cultures tout en préservant les ressources disponibles 🌾 ➡️ Selon l’INRAE, en France, la consommation d’eau douce par l’agriculture s’élèverait à 58% (moyenne 2010-2019) 💧 En quoi consiste l’optimisation de l’irrigation ? 🧐 1️⃣ Une première approche consiste à faire évoluer les systèmes d’irrigation en tant que tels (irrigation goutte à goutte, systèmes intelligents, etc.)🚰 2️⃣ Une autre approche consiste à mesurer l’humidité des sols avec précision, mieux prévoir les conditions météo, etc., pour être capable de calibrer et d’ajuster les pratiques d’arrosage en conséquence 🌧️ ➡️ Quelle que soit la méthode employée, ces approches permettent in fine de fournir aux plantes la quantité d’eau adéquate, évitant ainsi le gaspillage et d’autres problèmes liés à une irrigation excessive ou insuffisante (maladies, faibles rendements, etc.) 💡 La #solution apportée par Weenat 🇫🇷 : ➡️ L’entreprise nantaise équipe des parcelles agricoles à travers l’Europe avec ses capteurs de température, d’humidité des sols, etc., à différents niveaux et emplacements📍 ➡️ Ces capteurs intelligents transmettent en temps réel les données à des systèmes d’analyses qui les interprètent et les croisent avec d’autres données (météo et satellite principalement) pour les enrichir et affiner les conclusions 📡 ➡️ Les données analysées sont alors transmises aux agriculteurs sur leur smartphone (ou application web).
